Overall Purpose of Job:

Responsibilities:
• Direct sales of valves, fittings, tubing, pumps, compressors, power/test units and gas boosters
• Develop detailed technical and commercial knowledge of product offerings
• Advise clients on appropriate use of products
• Gather and circulate intelligence on current areas of usage
• Gather and circulate intelligence on competitor offerings
• Collate demand profile for each client
• Recommend products for stock holding
• Generate Request For Quotation(RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO)
• Prepare quotations and process purchase orders
• Develop long term relationships with profitable clients

CA Global Africa Recruitment is currently looking for an Internal Auditor to be based in Lubumbashi , DRC.

Main purpose of this role is to ensure the presence of adequate internal controls and full compliance of the internal policies and procedures throughout the organization. The key responsibility includes fraud / embezzlement detection, prevention, periodical audits, investigations and recommendations for appropriate countermeasures to the Chairman.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review the internal controls / check points and make recommendations for necessary improvements to the Chairman.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud / embezzlement detection, investigation, prevention and reporting program.
• Review the reliability and integrity of financial information and the means used to identify, measure, classify and report such information.
• Investigate allegations or other key indicators of fraud and embezzlement in collaboration with the other department heads appropriate.
• Focus on expenditures, cash, inventory, travel expense, payroll, assets and other functions as targets for fraud / embezzlement.
• Research and uncover the different methods used by fraudsters and propose different courses of action to counterattack such practices.
• Create awareness amongst department heads on the potential methods of fraud and abuse.
• Set up tight controls to reduce cash payments and move towards other forms of payment, such as bank transfers or company cheques.
• Make surprise visits at different locations and conduct spot checks on cash balances, stocks, inventory, assets, documentation, etc.
• Investigate and uncover employees involved in practices such as fraud, embezzlement and misappropriation of company cash, assets, resources, etc.
• Assist individuals who perform operational and financial activities with risk assessments and action plans in their responsibility areas to heighten awareness of major exposures, loss potential, and /or transactional anomalies and facilitate discussions of practical ways to manage or avoid them.
• Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as appropriate judgment, independence and discretion.


Job Qualifications & Experience:
• C.A. or Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Certified Internal Auditor
• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards (GAAS).
• More than 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing.
• Knowledge of French will be an advantage

Skills & Attributes:

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! DON'T FALL VICTIM!

I logged into my mailbox today and I saw something funny and
that quickly gave me the initiative to send this mail.

I got a mail with a subject line that says:

Congratulations from MTN Nig. You have won N1 million.

Now, today is not the first time I would see such a mail.

The difference is that this particular one was very powerful.

It was sent from an email address that looked like a genuine one (customercare@mtnonline.com)

they even gave reference to the MTN website in the stupid email.

Here is the content of the mail:

My advice is that don't ever give out
details like your ATM no and password or
any other important things online.

Stay secured and if there is any thing
you want to confirm if it is a scam or
